Some of you have been able to visit Crystal Cove State Beach with us before.  It is a great local Orange County beach only 10 to 15 minutes from our house (click here for a map).  Well, the cabins located in the historic section of the beach community will start going up for vacation rental this week.  This would be an awesome way to spend a vacation!  The link provide takes you to a Flash presentation.  Click on the "map" link to see a full map of the beach.  You can pan north and south along the beach to see all the available units.  There also is a "History" section to browse.

One fact that I didn’t know is that the movie "Beaches" with Bette Midler was filmed in Crystal Cove.
