Testing Our Faith – Tony Snow on Easter

Tony Snow looks to be the next White House Press Secretary.  Who is Tony Snow?  His most visible work is on Fox News, but he also is a syndicated columnist that is not afraid of expressing his opinions and beliefs, especially about his faith.  Check out this article on Easter.  Awesome writing and an awesome faith!  For instance:

This is where Easter enters the picture again. The story of Easter is one of renewal against all rules and odds. It describes the life of an unknown man who preached in a forlorn and forgotten corner of the globe, who lived humbly and died in humiliation, whose votaries fought with words and not swords, and who somehow became the source of the world’s greatest and most influential religion. Death begat life, and life begat hope, and hope begat liberation.

And to the naysayers that try to pass off Easter as another empty religious holiday:

The key to Easter is this: It is too preposterous, too outrageous, too
incredible not to be true, and not to be the key to a much larger truth.

Awesome stuff.  Be very glad America that this man of faith is going to be the voice of the White House.

Excellent news.
