You can check off one of the pre-written messages, or compose one of your own. Put aside any misgivings you may have about war strategy and think of the men and women in harm’s way. Letting them know you appreciate their service is a great way to start the week (or, for that matter, every week—you can return and send additional cards as often as you like).
