Here’s a very interesting posting by Phil Vischer on his blog, philvischer.com concerning the new Sylvester Stallone movie, Rocky Balboa.  Phil is the creator of the Veggie Tales movies/shows.  His 10 posts on the rise and fall of Veggie Tales are riveting reading.

On his discussion of the Rocky Balboa movie, he provides a quote from Stallone himself:

Here’s a quote from Rambo himself:  “The more I go to church, and the more I turn myself over to the process of believing in Jesus and listening to His Word and having Him guide my hand, I feel as though the pressure is off me now.”

Is he genuine?  Well, he certainly could be.

I do hope that is true. It can only be positive and productive for the Great Commission the more that mainstream actors and actresses embrace God’s love.
