Sorry for the lack of posting recently.  I had intended to upload some postings over our recent trip to Mississippi, but, as most family trips go, I got too busy and didn’t get around to it.

Here is a nice, lighthearted return to posting:

20 Surfing Dolphins Line Up to Catch a Wave

This is a great photo from Australia.  But, this is not limited to the exotic locales!  We’ve seen this happening here in Southern California at our favorite beach, Crystal Cove State Beach.  Just not on this scale.  We’ve seen a couple of dolphins literally surf the wave, waiting at the surf break for the right wave and then vigorously swimming down the front of the wave.

It’s very cool, if not a little unnerving when you are in the water with them!
