Erik Gauger and the "Notes from the Road" crew have posted their latest travelogue. It is an intriguing look at the southwest Nicaraguan coast. The photos are superb, and the writing is well done.

what an amazing site….. his photos are incredible… although, you won’t fine me lugging around a 40 pound camera. 😉
AP, I agree! Erik’s use of light is phenomenal and it takes his good, but fairly common, compositions to a much higher level. I’ve learned a lot from his photos in that good lighting can make or break a great composition.

Yep… lots to read too… i think his site could be layed out a little better, once you’re into a story, you have to back track a bit to get to other stories within a given topic…. but overall i really like it.. additionally, i like that he shows big pictures, not just small ones…
