Okay, it’s not a new game. It is a simple yet powerful way to keep your sanity and remember all those things you need to do. It’s sort of like your own personal assistant taking all your verbal notes and transcribing them into email. Here’s how it works.
First, you sign up for a FREE account. Did I say FREE. Yep!
Second, you add different email addresses that you want to be able to send to.
Finally, you call their toll free number, tell the recorded message who you want to Jott, leave your message, and almost instantaneously an email is sent to the recipient with your message transcribed into a text message.
Brilliant!
It’s quite useful for when you are away from your computer or don’t have the means to make a note to yourself. Now, all you do is call the number and leave a voice message and you have your note. The procedure, as noted on the Jott website:
You: Call 866-JOTT-123
Jott: Who do you want to Jott?
You: Myself
Jott: Beep!
You: Type up the meeting minutes and send them to Sean.
Jott: Got it.
You: Hang up.
Jott will send you an email with your transcribed message.
That’s it. As I said before…brilliant!
